Cucumber Mint Cooler

A bold & breezy cocktail that's crisp, herbaceous, & finishes with a salty-sour kick - perfect for warm days & spicy moods. 

 

Flavor Profile:

-Cooling and crisp from muddled cucumber

-Bright & zesty from fresh lime

-Lightly balanced from agave

-Herbaceous from mint

-Citrusy-spicy kick from the Tajín rim

 

Ingredients:

-2 oz blanco tequila

-3/4 oz fresh lime juice

-1/2 oz agave syrup

-4 cucumber slices

-5-6 fresh mint leaves

-Ice

-Tajín seasoning

-Splash of soda water

-Cucumber ribbon or mint sprig for garnish

 

Instructions:

1. Rim the Glass:

Run a lime wedge around the rim of a short glass & dip it into Tajín to coat. Fill with ice.

2. Muddle:

In a shaker, muddle cucumber slices & mint together to release juice & oils.

3. Shake: 

Add tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, & ice. Shake well until chilled (about 15 seconds).

4. Strain:

Fine strain into your prepared glass. Top with a splash of soda water. 

5. Garnish:

Add a cucumber ribbon or mint sprig for a fresh finish.
